Scott Wexler (Senior Associate – SMW)

Mr. Wexler earned his BA in Economics from Brandeis University in Waltham , MA .

Immediately following graduation from Brandeis, Mr. Wexler was employed as a Management Trainee by The Home Depot Corporation.  He was assigned to the Fairfield , Connecticut store.  Mr. Wexler subsequently emigrated to Israel and he earned a rabbinical ordination in 1998.  He returned to the United States in 1998 and was employed by the Young Israel of Hollywood (FL) congregation as a Youth Director.  Simultaneously, he taught religious education and physics at Hillel Community Day School in North Miami Beach , FL.   Upon return to Israel , Mr. Wexler then founded and organized a sushi catering and distribution company which operated from the suburbs of Jerusalem , Israel from 2001 through 2006.

Since joining Marcher in July 2006, Mr. Wexler has assisted in the restructuring of a variety of clients in several industries.  He has successfully performed as Controller of a company with annual revenues of over $60 million and Chief Financial Officer of a company with annual revenues of over $12 million.  He has proven his ability to review and analyze financial statements and legal documents, provide timely financial statements, analyze past and present performance, and prepare future forecasts including cash flow needs, revenue projections, and budgetary constraints. 

Currently, Mr. Wexler assists two trustees acting as Operations Manager to manage and maintain their commercial and residential real asset portfolios.  His duties include coordination with attorneys, insurance agencies, banks, and construction managers to assist with completion, preservation, and disposition of a wide variety of properties.
