Marie A. Wexler (Associate/Senior Analyst - MAW)

Ms. Wexler is experienced in the areas of real estate development, construction management and marketing. In addition, Ms. Wexler has been actively involved in real estate brokerage, property management and asset administration.

1973 – 1979 Principal in a residential and commercial real estate construction and development company that produced over 700 homes with a sales volume in excess of $40 million.

1979 - 1982 Real estate agent with Long & Foster Real Estate commercial/industrial department. In that capacity Ms. Wexler earned Top Agent honors from the Northern Virginia Board of Realtors for three years

1982 – 1985 Associate with a Fairfax , Virginia real estate development company involved in the development and marketing of four industrial parks in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties , which totaled approximately 150 acres.

1985 – 1990 Principal in a development organization that constructed over 750,000 square feet of office and flex-industrial space in Fairfax , Loudoun and Prince William Counties . In that capacity, she was directly responsible for marketing and sales/leasing for approximately 15 real estate development projects. During the same time period, she was a principal in a real estate brokerage company involved in over $20 million of transactions per year.

1990- 1992 Associate with a Washington , D.C. based workout/turnaround management firm. In that capacity she was responsible for asset administration of a $300 million real estate portfolio including partnership interests in over 50 retail and multi-family projects.

1992 – present Organizer and principal of Marcher Consultants, Inc. and, in her capacity as President of the work-out turnaround management firm administers the day-to-day finances of the company.

1997 – present Principal in development organization that has developed numerous flex-industrial and warehouse condominium projects in Loudoun County and Prince William County , Virginia totaling almost 700,000 square feet . Ms. Wexler, in her capacity as President of Markey, Inc., organizes individual limited liability companies for each of the projects, and she serves as managing member for each of the LLC’s.

1997 – present President of Markey Management Company – a condominium unit owners association management firm that currently manages the operation of several condominium associations in Loudoun and Fairfax Counties .

Licensed real estate broker in the Commonwealth of Virginia .
